Grass roots observation, I've had a large bee hive in the basement of my storage building for 6 years.

It becomes very active anytime temps rise above 65, we've had some mid 70's this week and no sign of a single bee.

There was a segment on PBR earlier this week talking about it, the lead industry dude was saying he felt that this year there may be enough bees to pollinate the nations crops but if this isn't brought under control and fast, next year may not be so rosy

This report comes to you from N. Louisiana, where stocking of a food larder seems to be the appropriate action.
