Moderate Dems are a lot better than rightwingers. Dems can only win in conservative states like Nebraska and Montana if they are moderates. Also, in general elections, liberals cannot win, at least they never have in our entire history. So Dem presidential candidates must move to the center, preferably without being hypocrites. The two-party system is by no means perfect but the founding fathers wisely installed it because if we had a 5 party system the country could be taken over by a radical minority with only 21% of the vote. Understand? Also, I agree with moderates on many issues. Liberals aren't always right, you know. And the world is not black or white.
