There is a larger delta in the gallons per 15000 miles. So yes, it is even better when compared against the average. It is worse than it was before. Which is what the article said. "You career grad students are embarrassing." What is embarrassing is watching someone who seems to be otherwise intelligent, try to defend an indefensible position. Either that, or is flaunting an area of ignorance.
