I had kept an old Cavalier that I used to commute with for the kids. Your really better off to get a car in their name and insure it under their name. Otherwise if put on your policy the company selects your most expensive vehicle and bases their rate on that. This was from my insurance man who explained that he would be basing my new drivers rate on my wife's new Cadillac. That would not have been pretty:)
