I believe judaism does permit conversion, although its a tough process.

In contrast the Zoroastrian religion does not permit conversion at all. a deal made when they fled Persia and landed in India.

Do you call any other cultural group wishing to preserve its own identity racist?

When surrounded by numerous other cultural groups that accept them as equals, what else could you call it? What drives one to choose a person of the same cultural group over others other than bias against the others?

Japanese are clearly racist. The encouragement of parents who tell their kids to marry within their group and not outside the group is clearly racist.

Does that surprise you?
