Someone in the Kerry camp made a mistake with the website, citing the V for the Silver Star instead of the Bronze Star. Big deal. Any proof on the allegations about Kerry 'beefing up' the citations? Didn't know a LT jg had so much pull with an Admiral and the Sec of the Navy. If not, it's just so much conjecture, sort of like me saying that Bush snorted cocaine, got a woman knocked up who had an abortion, and takes powerful antidepressants at this very moment (all 'rumors' that you can find on the net right now). The fact that Kerry got off active duty because of a Navy regulation seems to have escaped your attention. No, I don't know others who it applied to, but since it was a regulation on the books at the time, it must have. To say that there were none because you don't know any is no proof. As far as wounds, they were minor but documented. Like I said, the PH doesn't require that the wounds be severe, just suffered as a result of combat action. Geez, don't you have anything more than this? For this, you accuse a brave man of falsifying his combat experiences and receiving fraudulent medals? I'd have to say that you're not very good at this smearing stuff...

Bush is pictured wearing a medal he didn't earn on AWOLBUSH.com, wearing the "wings" medal which he didn't even come close to earning. It is theorized that he borrowed someone else's medal for his official portrait in uniform. Kerry earned all his medals the hard way, in combat.
