Those Democrats are so bad and so clueless....I really makes you wonder how they won such an overwhealming win last November...even in traditionally safe Republican states like Texas and Florida... Or were the activities (or lack thereof of policy issues) by the Republicans in the past few years deemed so much worse that divided government was the desired course? You have to at least ask why the American people made such a strong "left" turn (maybe more of a slight left). To read some of the posters on this thread, the democrats are incompetent, traitorous fools. So how did they get elected so handily? Are the American People so dumb...or are there two sides to the story?

Perhaps we are going to 'have' to suffer the crippling long-term negative effects of decreased economic vitality, and decreased security and clout in the world as a result of the massive destructive policy blunders we have engaged in over the past several years... before we (the American people) can truly 'learn from these mistakes', and act to counter the damage done to the country we love....
