Yeah.. mine too.. He was certainly unique.. One can hum his tunes forever.. All that without any musical background or much training.. The end however is sad.. If you read the stories, he was estranged from family last 12 years of his life, living with people who were glad to have him.. He had instructed apparently that he did not need or want his family at his death.. And the death was sudden so no reconciliation.. No film industry folks showed up at his funeral.. My view of the indian film industry has gone down few notches.. I found out only couple of days ago.. Definitely impacted my mood more then hearing about other greats who has passed on before him, like Naushad.. Usually I take news of death with equanimity.. This one some how was different.. Have not figured out the reasons yet.. Bummer..
