Yeah, but for an Administration that always touts how it stands up for the soldiers I expected a much quicker and stronger response to the revelations two weeks ago about the Walter Reed situation. The President was noticably silent for too long...the Gates sacks the General and we have a blue-ribbon commission..

Cripes...If the President really cared, jump in the limo head over there, tour the facility in question, express genuine outrage on camera, tell Gates and the VA to get it fixed pronto...tell em to find the funding to do it, including a special congressional allocation...and tell everyone you are PERSONALLY interested in the welfare of those wounded troops!

So we get a blue ribbon commission instead.
