As I mentioned before, NOK and QCOM both need each other. It is all about coming to an agreement on rates. If they did not need each others IP, then they would not be fighting in courts.

I hate what Nokia is doing to QCOM more than any one on this thread, however, by QCOM trying to fix edge, GPRS, Wifi, WCDMA, EVDV, etc, Nokia is winning. I am not saying that they will be doing better than QCOM but they are going to get a major piece of 3G royalties. And QCOM might have to treat them a bit differently than other manufacturers.
