First of all, we were discussing the war in Iraq and AQ's strategy, so this charge against Israel has nothing to do with the case. As per usual when he can't answer a point. Second of all, excuse me if I don't just take Jan Egeland's word for it. I remember how strongly and with what language he condemned Israel's non-existant "massacre in Jenin" And considering UNFIL's track record of letting Hizbullah use their own bases for rocket launchers, you are going to believe THEIR assessment of the truce? They are right next to Hizbullah, who doesn't play nice with UN weenies who offend them. That said, if it's true it was wrong. But one soldier spouting off who doesn't know the full story, added it to with Hizbullah propaganda and UN backing, does not make a story. Hizbullah built thousands of bunkers in South Lebanon and not one shelter. They launched Katyushas from private houses. They used the Lebanese as human shields, while firing rockets into Haifa and northern Israel at random. Then they wail about casualties. Who's kidding who here?
