I think that we have 2 leaders, Adolf Hitler who influenced the Germans and their allies and the Grand Mufti al Husseini who fostered Hitler's ideas and promoted them to the likes of Gamal Abdel Nasser, Saddam Hussein and Yasser Arafat. Up until near the end of WW II, Jews lived as lesser beings but with relative peace in Arab lands. Had al Husseini been tried for war crimes of which he was indisputably guilty, he might not have been able to spread hatred and anti semitism to all of Islam.
