The scholars who interpret Islam for society and culture decided to back regimes that could protect pockets of Islam after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. We are dealing with the results of that now. Dictatorships, Fascist rulers, Kingdoms, and regions run by war lords. Poor Muslims, the innocent victims of false scholars, who forced them into dictatorship, fascism and warlordism. I assume you mean outside scholars, not Muslim scholars. How awful it must be to be an innocent victim of circumstances, with no responsibility for one's own actions. I guess it's either the demonic Jews or the evil Americans plotting with the Devil to force Muslims into dictatorships and fascism. Yet, how could this be? God loves Muslims best. They are God's chosen people who have every right to subjugate the rest of the world as if they were customers in Muslim owned motels.
