Last time I took a look at the demographics of American Muslims, the majority are Black Muslims, that is to say, American blacks born Christians who have converted to a version of Islam that isn't traditional at all.

And the majority of American Arabs are Lebanese, Coptics, Syriacs, and other Christians who moved here to avoid murder at the hands of their "tolerant" Muslim brothers.

Do you have a URL for that? After your comment about 10 thousand Mexicans coming to the US a year I'm sure you will understand my skepticism of your numbers.

I'd think the World Almanac or the Britannica Book of the Year would probably be the most trustworthy sources on that list.

ps- please note those are 2001 numbers. The population is probably significantly larger today.
