police and firefighters on the SAME radio equipment so they could talk to each other, what is it with these manufacturers.. philadelphia bought a system upgraded police fire radios about five years ago.. the system goes down often and patrolman on duty is left without radio contact on his beat and in potential danger. seems mot. has been working on the system for the last five years. Since i do not buy the liberal papers in philly i kept up on the phone situation in the last year or so.
