Look on the bright side, the worse the zealots behave to get their rocks off, the more they abandon the centrist voters who will decide who has real power after 2008. The hardcore wingers could implode the Republicans just like the Dems folded in the 1980's, until they regrouped and found a new identity. Stale old name-calling won't work outside the CPAC convention hall. I haven't heard people use "faggot" to attack others since the school playground.
