You ought to own a place in PEI then. Only a few years ago, in $US, a person could buy a nice farmhouse (even furnished, I think) on an acre or two of land for something like $50,000. I guess it would be triple that now, in USD. But for you, as for me, that's a pretty long commute and the summer season is the only time to be there. And then there would be faucets leaking, pumps breaking, varmints invading (human and otherwise), paint peeling, mildew, and all the other agents of entropy.
