I don't think we can change their minds. But I don't think they can kill us either. Which is nice.

What was uncalled for? I must have missed it. It's ok with me if you ask me where I want to live. I have the means to live where ever I want to live, and right now I choose the US. But I'm thinking about buying property elsewhere, too. Canada appeals to me. I don't think the Persians will be invading there, either (not even if they really really want to) :-)

But I believe the Muslims who want to take over the world and kill the infidels. I don't think anything we do is going to change their mind.

I don't think the majority of folks on the left disagree with this statement.

Where the left differs from the typical right-winger is in assessing the SIZE of the problem and the CAPABILITIES of muslim extremists to wreak such havoc.

An unrealistic assessment of any situation increases the odds of failure. It's vital to have one's facts straight.

Why didn't they do it in centuries past when the West had no advantage over them?
