It's possible if not likely that McCain hired the hatchet-men who did him in back in 2000 to go after Giuliani the same way. That would be the final nail in the coffin of the ex-maverick-become-Bush-clone.

He has a shot if Karl Rove is his chief strategist. He brings with him all the money that went to Bush plus 30% of the pro-war crowd, 10-15% of those that goes into the booth and flips a coin, and the dirty tricks can again decide the next election.

Both of these guys, McCain and Giuliani are over rated.. McCain is ready to bend any which way and Giuliani's claim to fame is what it is..

Personally so far I have not seen any one on the Republican side one would support whole heartedly..
