But we'll have to settle for reading the Book of Ester, since it's Purim, where they talk about the Jews duking it out against the Hamanites in the streets and cities of Old Persia. Rabbinic opinion was always that King Achoshverosh (Ataxerxes) was an idiot, but there was nothing better on offer back then. Now there is, and the Persians are voting with their feet...and no, they are not heading to Qom either, unless they are mullahs in training.
