Do you think it is in Intel's interest that Sprint detail all of the terms of the "partnership"? No it is not. Is it possible that there are terms in the "partership contract" that tell Sprint not to disclose terms? Yes. Intel wants it to seem like Sprint did due diligence and made this strictly on the terms of the technology - just as you seem to think.

Intel is funding Clearwire to the tune of $600 million. Do you think Clearwire will benefit if Wi-Max is successful on Sprint? I think so. They should be as interested in Sprint's success as that of Clearwire, and if it means subsidizing development costs they should be willing to spend at least $600 million, maybe more.
