Did you check the dates? This is the most recent estimate in the list, and I'd bet the population has grown since 2005. 3 million was in the middle of a range, but you paid no attention to the age of some of the data. I don't expect to convince you of anything. Ever. But I'm sure others will see the data for what it is. Not everyone may have noticed how stale some of the numbers were.
