Your posture will improve as your sense of balance gains confidence.. As posture improves you need less effort to accomplish the same task and the strain goes away. Your brain via your hypothalamus actually improves your motor circuits while you sleep. That is how we learn to walk or ride a bike or ski. Practice makes perfect.

PS - Much better to start at 50 than 60. By 70 you'll worry how many pieces you'll break into. Do it now.
