The danger is the cards. It doesnt allow for a CONFIDENTIAL VOTE. And while you comment on Management, believe me Unions are far more guilty of intimidation then management. Also, once a union gets in its very hard to get rid of them. As to Defined Benefit Plans, THEY ARE HISTORY. No one can afford them anymore. They are EXTREMELY expensive to administer and the risks to a company guaranteeing a return far into the future that no one can predict the rise and fall of the underlying assets is more then competition today will allow. It is those pensions that are KILLING our american industry, particularly the auto industry and eventually its gonna choke local governments. jdn
