And this is about one of the most sophisticated and expensive piece of CAD software with tons of incorporated (and highly guarded) intelligence for design, simulation and verification from one of the most reputable firm so this is your description of modelsim? obviously you have a very limited exposure to asic/fpga development. a little humility never hurt nobody, you know! admittedly pgerassi flies off the handle some times but you're embarrassing yourself more than he does and you don't even know it. i'll try to refrain from replying to you in the future.
