Iran has no operational connection with Al Qaida. You can't lump all terrorists in the same bag. Al Qaida are Sunnis. Hezbollah and Iran are Shias concentrated on Lebanon against Israel. They have been around for decades. They are a menace but have not attacked the US, only Israel a few times.

Plus like I said in 2001-2002 the entire country was Iran was moderating and the anti-American types were out of favor. Bush-cheney reversed all that.

Finally, our army and Marines are exhausted, and bombs alone cannot have the affect on Iran you're probably thinking about. Plus Iran is three times as big as Iraq and could really hurt us in Iraq just as we're trying to pacify that place (unsuccessfully).
