They tried to live in Greenland as if they were on the Gulf Stream in Norway. They were maxed out in consumption, and so when there was some fluctuation they went through a collapse, not a decline. Why won't you face the fact that whey colonized Greenland when it was warmer there and they could grow crops, and left when it got colder and they couldn't. History shows this is what happened. It may not fit in with your Algore outlook on the world, but it's true.
