Initially NO. The US went into Iraq looking for none existent WMDs. First Bush's mistake. Deploying US soldiers in Iraq is like sending an invitation to AQ. Second mistake. Now instead of rebuilding Iraq, the focus shifted to AQ. A war with AQ can never be won. The war on terrorism can never be won. Third mistake. Listening to Israeli intelligence. Fourth mistake. The list goes on and on and on. In short, the Zionists think tanks that drove the US to Iraq made incalculable mistakes and is costing the US fine young man and women lives, not to mention the hundreds of billions of dollars. I hope that you can sleep at night. Oops, sorry, you do not sleep at night the Muslims are coming.

"Terrorist attacks against this country go all the way back to the Carter administration. Every president since has had to deal with it.

Only Bush Jr. saw fit to respond to islamic terrorism by invading and occupying a country that wasn't even part of AQ."

and you reply: "Kate, are we fighting AQ in Iraq - yes or no?"

Well done Nadine, one more red herring to your credit.

Kate, are we fighting AQ in Iraq - yes or no?

AFAIK, neither Iran nor say, Venezuela, have significant AQ now. If we invaded either, I'm pretty sure we could eventually have a fight with them in both places. Would that be good in your opinion? Please note that despite Cheney & Co., they were not in Iraq prior to us either.
