In addition, I suspect we will see the Rep presidential candidates step a bit further away from Bush. I haven't kept up with their campaigns very well, but I have the impression none of the leading candidates have distanced themselves very far from Bush, let alone engage in any active, serious criticisms. We may well see much more of that.

And, of course, the falling equity markets will become a part of the picture, should that keep up/down.
