True, but the presdient still has major power if he can inspires the masses, and the old Mullahs are quite unpopular. But Bush-cheney zealotry backed by rightwing christian fundamentalist paranoia is having a very poison effect on Iran. We need to back off and cool it with them, have talks, etc. The real problem is Bush's disaster in Iraq, and I call it Bush's because he and cheney created it. It's their private plan. No one else would have wanted it. Not even 75% of Republicans. Admit it, you know Bush-cheney are dishonest and unsound. They siumply cannot be trusted. That's well proven.
