bearjones? 'why was this not posted before the bit hit?'

It was.

90% of that post was charts and commentary that he had been pounding down our throats since last May's collapse. He's even said- 'this is the 17th time Im posting the trading range chart- 17 times etc.

Now Im a FREE SI poster, but I use only one screen name. I am amused at how many 'new' FREE posters seem to come out of no-where and arrive in the middle of a conversation with slider- always when hes right and always during a meltdown?

His message on gold and silver stocks has been consistant since May. A banded trading range with a bearish bias- I think thats a pretty accurate quote.

He's the only one that I've seen- thats posted understandable charts that clearly define the rally stages of the cycle from the consolidation phases.

Like many here- Ive followed his postings since the old Yahoo days. There has no bigger cheerleader for gold when everyone else was puking on it and there's been no smarter, or more accurate trader shorting it- or calling the rollovers when everyone is all lined up on the bullish side.

His trading range chart has been posted here on this site umpteen times- starting months ago. I wish I would have followed it since its first posting because it's been dead-on!

I also remember when he posted all the quotes from kitco, goldeagle.com etc- a couple of months ago- the last time the guru's were ALL lined up and calling for a major breakout rally- only to get crushed.

Same thing here again.

Another great call- that fell on deaf ears.

And now the casino-junkie margin players that got killed here are coming out flaming.

imagine that!

ps- looks like the margin clerks will be busy again today<vbg>.

LMAO!!! And why was this not posted before the bit hit? Scared and hiding under that famous porch?? LOL

I sometimes take Slider to task for using terms like "Perma Bulls on Energy on the BBR board (Many of them are traders also.. and go short or sell into rallies)" but his timing on gold was impeccable this time. Go back to his posts last weekend before the latest downdraft.
