It is now, at least a big part of it.

I'm surprised you actually accept Bush's terminology of activity in Iraq as part of his "War on Terror". The WAOT is like the war on drugs and the war on poverty, its not an actual war. The War on Terror will end as soon as Bush leaves office, and the public can stop hearing that idiotic term from our future politicians.


This is a long war, that hasn't found its proper name yet. The war against Islamic Extremism is too awkward, if more accurate. This is not like the War on Drugs, this is the 3rd great struggle of the West against totalitarianism. First was against fascism, second against communism, third is against Islamism.
