Of course time will tell, and yes I am familiar with Armstrongs work.

Again I must reiterate I don't hold gold solely for appreciation. If it drops by half I will still be at a break even point and that drop will not negatively impact my overall finacial condition to any great degree.

BTW, from a value standpoint gold has outperformed my home during the same 5 year period as we have not had the massive appreciation that those on the coasts experienced.

I had them in a home I owned some 20 years ago. They look nice...when they are polished.
