Extremists on both sides from Cheney to Al Zarqawi have fanned the flames of war. In Cheney's case, he and his cronies are also profiting by billions of dollars, so it's especially hideous. I really do think if the facts came out, Cheney would deserve life in prison for high crimes and corruption. Notice one of the big reasons for the screw-ups at Walter Reed is this Bush-cheney privatizatrion of our military, letting corporate cronies have the rich contracts, which fleece taxpayers and provide sub-par services. Every time they privatize in the military or Medicare or anywhere else, they double the cost of the service or item. Sometimes more than double. Pharmacuticals especially. Thank God the VA is allowed to negotiate lower drug prices. But Medicare can't. And in Iraq Halliburton double and triple dips all the time. We're really getting screwed.
