Bush has created so much damage in Iraq, Iran and the Middle East that only a new US president will be able to defuse the situation. The Baker-Hamilton commission had the right idea but Bush ignored their wise counsel. Democrats in congress will try their best to restrain and constrain Bush-cheney's lust for expanding the war and getting more of our troops needlessly killed. Murtha's plan has wide support amongst the American People. Just because the grandest mistakes have already been made doesn't absolve Bush-Cheney of guilt. If we had a parliamentary governmment, they would have been removed from power a long time ago. Very few people have faith in them anymore, and most of the world doesn't trust them as far as they can trow them. It is a very dangerous time.
