No, you are the one denying reality. Iran was definitely moderating in 2001-2002 and supported us after 9-11, closing their borders to the Taliban and halfway helping out, even allowing pro-US marches in Tehran. Bush's Axis Of Evil speech was the event which turned them against us. And can you really blame them? it's not the US they hate, it's Bush-cheney and the war-mongering neocons. Yet no one has more to help the Iranian radicals than Bush-Cheney and all their blundering. Nor Al Qaida. Nor Hamas. Nor Hezbollah. Nor Halliburton and Exxon gouging us. Bush is their best friend.
