This spread developed when the Govt. tried to control the appreciation of the Baht. All the expats there are looking at the same thing, carry out Baht and exchange it for dollars in Singapore. A short and cheap flight with a built in no risk profit, but amounts have to be kept low, maybe $10k at a time max as there are some currency controls in place.
