I nearly did in my 442. Going through South Dakota before the freeways.

The roads were straight for 100 miles, and then had a right angle turn. I was flying low. A cattle truck was coming the other way. I went into a four wheel drift around that corner and missed it by inches.

After I released my foot on the brake on a full stop 90 degrees from the centerline, the car rolled through a barbed wire fence, causing the only damage which were six nasty paint scratches that I left there for several years to remind me of it.
