I have an uncle who wanted to hunt moose with a bow but could not find a guide that would promise not to rifle the thing if it made any bad looking moves. Every guide told him that they are worse then a grizzly in that their first thought when hurt is to charge and attack. No run in them according to Tom. Seems to me if they had darted it and flown off to let the thing calm down and lay down they would have been far more successful.
