I don't consider land taken away from losers after they start a war as being "annexed".

Lebanon started a war with Israel. When? As I understand it,
Israel took advantage of Lebanon's civil war and invaded the country looking for Palestinians.

and particularly after 1967 Israel had confiscated and controlled most of the Arab lands and water resources under the title of “security reasons” or “security needs”

If you can't see his anti-Israel slant in the article, you have a problem.

When all the facts are presented, it must look like bias to you. The thing is the info we get about Israel is what's biased. Until recently, the US was rarely given the entire story in regards to Israel.

During my stay in Lebanon I had the chance to interview the following experts:

Professor Judith Harik

Professor of Political Science at the American University of Beirut

Dr. Tarek Majzoub

Judge, Author and Electrical Engineer; specialized on water since 1988

Gebran Tueni

Publisher and Editorialist of An Nahar

Mohamed Abdulrazzak

Chief of the Natural Resources in the UN ESCWA

Mostafa Haq-Ali

Deputy Head of Hizbollah´s Media Information Center

And you think he is not able to discern who is biased and who is speaking honestly? There are many books written by neutral third parties that present the situation in much the same way. Like I said, its probably the first time you are reading a less biased version of Israel in which Israel is not seen as the knight in shining armor and the Arabs the despicable cads.

Now don't get me wrong.......the Arabs have provoked Israel on any number of occasions. But to my knowledge that does not include Lebanon. There are ALWAYS two sides to a story..............its good to get both sides.
