You're naive if you think that suppressing American oil usage and simultaneously providing tremendous funding for oil alternatives beginning in 2000 might not have been VERY productive.

We STILL use MUCH more oil than China and India COMBINED.

Bush is just "starting" to pay "lip service" to alternative fuels and higher fuel standards. Gore would have been on that stuff right out of the gate.

Besides that, Gore wouldn't have blown $500,000,000,000 (SO FAR) on this crappy Iraq War and that could have been money spent on things that could have actually HELPED our country.
