JDN; I agree with your post here and it is why I am looking at Rudy with an open mind. I favor most of his social positions and as a fiscal conservative ........well as I say, I agree with what you say here. As a social liberal (okay for you guys on the right a moderate) and as a fiscal conservative, Rudy is about as opposite of Bush as a person can get. I think even Hillary is closer to the Bush position than Ruby is. That is why I'm not sure what happens to the base should he get the nomination - but it will be fun to watch!
