Carranza2, please stop scaring me. I had no idea the technologically advanced and militarily powerful Germans and Japanese in the early 1940s had so much in common with the elusive boogymen of the Middle East. Who, by the way, are not yet caught up to the mid 20th century in terms of their own technology. But if you think you can draw that parallel just by saying it, say ahead.

"Let them enich themselves beyond measure [with oil sales] so that they can mount a truly well-financed assault on the West."

How much oil do you think they'll have to sell in order to start spending a trillion dollars a year on offensive weaponry? Do you think they'll catch up to us in a year or two? I'd like to know so I can get that duct tape and prepare.

And, by the way, whose oil is it? Do you think the world has some sort of "right" to it that would justify simply taking it? Does that "right" derive from our entitlement to continue driving our ton and a half vehicles, back-to-back 70 mph down millions of miles of roads, each one transporting one person?

"Sounds like an absolutely insane strategy to me, a strategy concocted while you may have been delirious."

Yeah, I woke up from a dream where I'd tried to send my soldiers to force hundreds of millions of people to think, act and believe what I wanted them to believe and it made me delirious.

Have you ever had that dream? C'mon, you have haven't you and it made you crazy too, didn't it?

Carranza2, you better revert back to an earlier Carranza model because there's no fix for the glitches in this one...obsolete from inception....too bad for you. Ed
