DJ, from the first day I came on this thread, many months ago, all I heard about was MMG. I never liked the way it moved and I never owned it, except for one brief moment of insanity (couple of days), and even then I was in and out like a flash.

But out of politeness (so many held it), I never spoke of it. But I am grateful for you telling the "rest of the story".

A clean cert does not have to be in the brokerage account to
sell restricted shares. The broker can go ahead and sell for a
few days, then send the cert to have partial release and get
another restricted cert back for the balance.

This is how the major holders sold on the 1st off hold day of
each bundle of certs issued.

There are no doubt people who will take time to get the restriction
removed first, but I doubt that they are motivated sellers,
so some shares may dribble out from this source.
