Sounds familiar. In our 38 years of marriage, my wife never prepared a "holiday" meal. She wasn't a particularly good cook in the first place and admitted it, although she could fix some fabulous crock pots. She (and I) was always happy to turn the holidays over to me. I still love cooking, although I'm not creative at all. She prepared most all of the other meals and I did all the outdoor grilling. Worked for us.
