They were insurgents captured during the Afghan war. That makes them eligible for a firing squad. You say they were 'insurgents' - what does that mean? Are you so sure that each detainee even resisted when the coalition came into town? I'm not. We have never heard the captors make this claim. We have no idea how it was decided who gets captured and sent to Gitmo, who gets captured and released, who gets captured and sent to Afghan prison, who gets captured and sent to their home country, who gets shot immediately, and who gets released immediately (grandma Afghan). The data has not been made available. So.....how do you know the people in Gitmo 'insurged' against anything?
