It adds some credibility to their opinion that they are aware it exists. This is in contrast to the analysts who think there will be a Barcelona for notebooks in 2008.

Nobody ever talks about this. I imagine it is basically Barcelona without the extra FPUs and perhaps 64 bit wide SSE unit, but I don't recall any information other than power consumption.

It was presented at last year Tech Analyst conference. Some web sites have (I believe mistakinly) called it bulldozer.
