Turns out they were right the first time, doesn't it?

Nobody can know what would have happened.

All we can know for sure is that had we invaded in 1991, nobody in Iraq would have had bad memories from 1991 as they did in 2003, the extra 100,000 most willing to revolt would have still been alive, the Iraqis would not have suffered 12 years of sanctions, and the Americans would have had 500,000 troops on hand to invade with.
