That outrage is a tool. It is a weapon, and it is just like a shell game or any other con, you direct the attention to something unimportant so you can screw with what the attention is supposed to be on. Republicans fall for it every time, and until their representatives become just a little more careful in what they say, and a lot better at pointing them out, the public can be forgiven for thinking that republicans are neanderthals.

It is just another con, like asking a senator about Guiliani's Abortion views, or roe Vs wade.....The Republicans go huffing of like an elderly steam engine on something no one gives a crap about, and misses a chance to talk about what matters.

Thus they use republicans to win elections for Democrats.

Examples like that are a dime a dozen over there, yet they seem to be oblivious to their blatant hypocrisy.

<< "Liberals have no moral compass." >>

Well, that does go a long way toward explaining why they do what they do, doesn't it?
