Yes, the canabravarama, dropped a few nickels there myself ... 'It seemed like a good idea at the time' -g- ... part of how i got here, knew Y from those days and before, probably followed his bio to this thread ... this seems like a subject EC might expound upon, maybe he doesn't know it exists

There was a time not to be in minerals juniors, for sure ... a long time, period of years, and during it people learned not to invest in mining ... so there came to be little investment in mining, few orebodies being discovered and less being developed, while existing mines high-graded their guts out to survive and/or wound down .... meantime the species kept using up metals, and at an increasing rate when averaged over the years ... pretty soon consumption caught up to supply, now zinc has gone from .35/lb to over 2.00, nickel from 4.00/lb to over 20.00 ... just cycles, they've made moves like this before, and more dramatically too

In which there may be a parallel for thorium, maybe for Thorium Power as well ... most juniors i follow have had to slug it out for years to become overnight sensations, many of them slug to this day, such is the nature of most efforts ... Th doesn't have much of a present, but seems to me like it may have a future, and the market cap sure looked tiny in relation to the level of people involved, so i'm in for a few ... and already underwater a bit, so you're not alone -g- ... one significant contract, and shareprice goes north in a hurry, very much like a junior in that respect also ... hey i didn't vote last post, hmm, think i'll give it an 8 ... yeah, and maybe later a 10 when it patches up its chart ... cheers
